The Grinch Who Stole for Christmas

According to police, “numerous” toys were being stolen from Lehigh Valley Hospital’s Cedar Crest campus in Allentown, Pa., which houses the region’s only emergency room, ICU, and trauma center for children. After an investigation, police arrested Brian Stano, 45, on charges of theft and receiving stolen property. Stano, who worked for the hospital for 12 years, allegedly admitted to stealing toys meant for young patients. “He told me that money was tight and that he gave the Xbox and some Lego sets to his children for Christmas,” an investigator said. A spokesman for the Lehigh Valley Health Network would only say that Stano no longer worked for them. (MS/Easton Express-Times) ...Sorry kids, no toys next Christmas: Daddy’s going away for a while.
