Trouser Snake

Steve Silk says he and his employees have been keeping an eye out for a sneaky animal that’s been visiting his St. Petersburg, Fla., pet store. “He’s been in twice before over the past nine months, and we didn’t realize he stole anything until after the fact.” But this time, when the suspect put a baby python in his pocket, Silk confronted him, workers blocked the door, and — with the aid of a security guard who was visiting Animal House as a customer — restrained him. Travis Treder faces theft charges. (AC/WFLA Tampa) ...Don’t tread on snake sellers, either.
