Who’s to Blame?

Tests showed that a Blue Earth County, Minn., baby had been exposed to opiates and amphetamines before being born, and county attorney Pat McDermott said his team is thinking about charging the mother with a crime. They’ve already charged the father: they say Daniel Sturdivant, 41, tried to limit the woman’s access to money so as to limit her access to drugs, but couldn’t be there all the time because he traveled for work. They say he even warned them she used meth. Nevertheless, they charged him with child endangerment and exposing a child to drugs. (AC/KTOE Mankato) ...Her body, his responsibility?
