Working Hard at Hardly Working

Dwayne Yeager, 31, called the police from his Brandon, Fla., home to report a burglary. When police arrived, they found the door open and the house ransacked, but no sign of forced entry. When other parts of the story didn’t add up, deputies confronted Yeager, who allegedly admitted to staging the burglary. Yeager claimed his wife was adamant that he go to work, but he didn’t want to, so he called in the burglary to avoid having to go. Deputies said Yeager also said he didn’t think you could be jailed for calling in a false burglary. He was arrested and taken to jail. (MS/Tampa Tribune) ...Wait until he finds out they still have chain gangs in the South.
