A Matter of Priorities

Police in New York, N.Y., were keeping a special watch on sex workers in the runup to the Super Bowl, to be held just over the river in New Jersey. Bronx detectives were looking around online when they discovered a supposedly 15-year-old girl being offered, and agreed to meet her. When they arrived at the designated hotel, they found a 15-year-old girl, who told them that her mother had brought her there from Florida, and was waiting for her in another hotel. Detectives went there, and the mom, Yolanda Ostoloza, 39, of Hollywood, Fla., admitted that “We came up here to work and make money with a pimp,” and “I knew it was for escorting and prostitution.” She was OK with her daughter doing that sort of work? “I thought my daughter was just going to do the fetish stuff,” she said. They charged her with promoting prostitution and endangering the welfare of a child. (RC/New York Daily News) ...In 10 years this story will be totally forgotten.
