Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s an Idiot

Stacey Armstrong agreed to babysit her friend’s newborn daughter, and took her 11-year-old daughter and the newborn to the grocery store in Kissimmee, Fla. But instead of taking them inside with her, she left them in the car with the engine running while allegedly shoplifting about $100 worth of groceries. According to the resulting police report, when Armstrong was asked why she stole the groceries, she answered, “I don’t know, sir. It was stupid of me.” Police asked the young girl if she knew how to check if the baby was OK. “I will pump her chest and blow in her mouth,” the girl said. (MS/Orlando Sentinel) ...Well, at least she had some emergency training!
