The package fell from the sky. It “made a perfectly round hole” in Maya Donnelly’s Nogales, Ariz., carport, and smashed into the home of Hulk, her German shepherd. The contents: marijuana, approximately 26 pounds of it. Authorities suspect a smuggler dropped it there by mistake, perhaps from a drone. Donnelly says people ask why she called them. “But how can you have a clear conscience, right?” she says. “We could have made lots of home repairs with that.” Instead, she and her family will have to pay about $500 for repairs, and replace the doghouse at their own expense.
