This Excuse Doesn’t Have a Ghost of a Chance

Michael West, 41, is being held in the Fond du Lac County (Wisc.) Jail on $1,000 bail after being charged with strangulation, battery, disorderly conduct, and resisting or obstructing an officer. The charges came after police arrived at West’s home to find his wife crying; she had a bloody nose. According to the criminal complaint, West had strangled her, then punched her repeatedly in the face when she picked up the phone to call police. When police asked West about his wife’s injuries, he claimed that she had fallen. When they asked about her neck injuries, he replied, “A ghost did it.” (MS/Oshkosh Northwestern) ...Scooby Doo will be called in to investigate.
